Philip George Bowen, 58, of Peabody died Saturday in Peabody. He was born June 23, 1953, in Hillsboro to Robert and Esther (Liggett) Bowen.

He married Connie Sue Weiser on Dec. 4, 1992.

He was an employee of Marion County Road and Bridge Department.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother John Bowen.

Survivors include his spouse; his mother, Esther Bowen of Goessel; sons Michael Bowen of Wichita and Michael Calhoun of Marion; daughters Michelle Ernzen of Fall City, Neb. and Rachael Mosqueda of Newton; brothers Granville Bowen of Alamogordo, N. Mex. and Dan Bowen of West Chester, Ohio; sisters Gertruda Malm of Goessel, Mary Lou Cogdill of Marion, Liz Johnson of Cedar Point, and Nancy Shanklin of Florence; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Peabody Christian Church, with Rev. Jim Pohlman officiating.
