Hillsboro police

Oct. 6: Officers handled two harassment complaints, performed a welfare check, and took a report of an assault where the victim reported being assaulted during a child custody exchange. Charges are pending.

Oct. 7: Police took a disturbance complaint, performed a welfare check, checked on suspicious activity, and handled a minor vehicle accident.

Oct. 8: Officers checked on suspicious activity and provided protection in an abuse order violation.

Oct. 9: Officers handled a criminal damage complaint and took a report of a skunk in city limits.

Oct. 10: Officers addressed a dog complaint, a parking complaint, a juvenile displaying odd behavior, and a possible DUI in which the vehicle was located but the operator was not intoxicated.

Oct. 11: Police handled two dog complaints, located and reported a water line break, and helped a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle. Officers also took a report of a person receiving suspicious phone calls and a report of a suicidal person at HCH.

Oct. 12: Police took reports of a possible identity theft and handled a minor traffic accident. Officers also checked on suspicious activity.

PEABODY POLICE

Oct. 8: Zachariah Winchester was issued a notice to appear in court on a charge of driving with illegal tags. Police took a report of a lost vehicle tag. Terry Clover, Peabody, was issued a notice to appear on charges of no tail lights, open container violation, and no proof of insurance. Officers took a complaint of possible protection from abuse. Police are investigating a complaint of a court order violation.

Oct. 10: Christopher Oswald was arrested and charged with violating a city warrant.

Oct. 11: Police took a complaint of theft. Police took an information report on a protection from abuse and a protection from stalking case. A case of disorderly conduct and harassment was opened and is under investigation. Officers took an information report from a juvenile in the community.

Oct. 12: Police filed a child-in-need-of-care case.

Oct. 13: Police took an information report. A report was made to officers of a possible stabbing and criminal trespass. The case was investigated and proven to be unfounded.

Oct. 14: In the early morning hours, police took an information report about phone harassment.
