Dec. 15: Police worked a non injury accident in the 300 block of Prairie Pointe St., returned an abandoned bicycle to its owner, and provided a welfare check in the 100 block of N. Madison St.

Dec. 16: Police assisted Marion County Sheriff’s Department with a domestic disturbance, and took a report of a natural gas leak in the 300 block of E. B St.

Dec. 17: Police returned stolen property to the owner, responded to a residential alarm in the 300 block of Willow Rd., took a harassment complaint in the 700 block of S. Ash St., fingerprinted a subject for employment, took reports of an out-of-control juvenile, a door-to-door salesperson without a permit, a theft in the 300 block of N. Ash St., and an accidental discharge of a firearm in the 300 block of Kennedy St.

Dec. 18: Officers took a dog complaint in the 500 block of S. Ash St., assisted with an electrical line fire at the 190th and Jade Rds., and took reports of a juvenile assaulted by another juvenile in the 300 block of S. Birch St. and an abandoned vehicle in the 300 block of S. Birch St.

Dec. 19: Officers responded to a minor traffic accident in the 100 block of N. Main St. where minimal damage occurred and no report was taken. Police delivered an emergency message in the 300 block of S. Ash St. and patrolled streets due to icy road conditions.

Dec. 20: Police assisted Marion County Sheriff’s Department with a vehicle rollover, provided motorist assists at B and Adams St., and D and Main Sts., and took reports of a lost cell phone and a protection from abuse order violation in the 500 block of E. First.

Dec. 21: Officers took a report of identity theft where the person’s debit card was being used fraudulently in several states, took reports a parking complaint in the 200 block of E. B St, and a gas skip in the 300 block of N. Ash St., where the motorist returned later to pay for the fuel, and provided motorist assist at Third and Adams Sts.
