Incident Report

Hillsboro

June 8: Officers took trespass and harassment complaints, returned lost property to its owner, and responded to a report of a verbal altercation.

June 9: Police assisted the Department of Revenue with a tax warrant for back taxes owed by Jost Plumbing.

June 10: Officers took a report of a possible drunken driver in Hillsboro Heights.

June 11: Police responded to two reports of possible pit bulls within city limits. In both cases officers verified that the dogs were removed from town. Officers also took a report of a semi that lost its load on U.S. 56, checked on suspicious activity, and addressed a report of an altercation between two juveniles in which charges are pending.

Thursday: Police issued a citation for parking on grass and addressed a stalking complaint.

Friday: Officers responded to a report of a homeless person living in a tent at a trailer hook up in Memorial Park. Police also took a report of an altercation between four people at a coin laundry in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St.

Saturday: Police took reports of an abandoned vehicle, a juvenile selling door to door, and battery in the 300 block of N. Ash that involved the same people from the coin laundry on Friday.

PEABODY

Police assisted with the return of a resident to Westview Manor. A report was taken of a rooster in the city limits; the case was turned over to animal control.

June 11: A report of aggravated battery is under investigation. Police executed a search warrant at 401 N. Vine St. and arrested Henry John Wiebe and Evan Click, both of Peabody. They were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Thursday: Police began an investigation into a battery at Peabody Care Center. Officers took a report of suspicious activity at 608 East 2nd St.
