Jan. 28 — Officers assisted a motorist at Jade Rd. and US-56 and checked on a hitchhiker on US-56.

Jan. 29 — Officers stopped and searched a vehicle in the 100 block of W. 3rd St. and assisted a motorist in the 500 block of E. D St.

Jan. 30 — Officers worked an injury accident involving multiple juveniles at the intersection of Date and Grand Sts. Officers checked a suspicious vehicle near the sewer plant.

Jan. 31 — Officers investigated a report of an out-of-control juvenile in a vehicle in the 500 block of E. D St. and checked suspicious activity in Hillsboro Heights.

Thursday — Officers assisted a motorist in the 100 block of W. D St. and investigated a report of an out-of-control subject in the 200 block of N. Lincoln St.

Friday — Officers investigated a dog complaint in the 400 block of N. Ash St. and a report of a disorderly person in the 100 block of S. Jefferson St.

Saturday — Officers performed a civil standby for a child custody exchange in the 700 block of S. Lincoln St. Officers investigated a property dispute in the 300 block of N. Ash St.

Peabody

Jan. 30 - Jake Watts was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection from stalking order.

Jan. 31 – Officers took property in for safekeeping. It was later returned to the owner.

Feb. 1 – Richard Litton, 32, Peabody, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, assault on a law enforcement officer, endangering a child, falsely reporting a crime, criminal possession of a firearm by a felon, and interference with law enforcement.

Friday – Officers investigated an aggravated burglary in the 700 block of N. Vine.
