Hillsboro

Feb. 28 — An injury accident in the 600 block of N. Ash St. and a commercial alarm in Hillsboro Heights were investigated.

Feb. 29 — A report of possible child neglect in the 300 block of N. Birch St. and a trespass complaint in the 200 block of S. Birch St. were investigated. A minor traffic accident with damage under $1,000 was investigated, and no report was needed.

March 1 — A burglary from a parked vehicle in Industrial Park was investigated. A non-injury accident in the 200 block of N. Main St., and a trespass complaint in the 900 block of E. D St. were investigated.

March 3 — A reckless driver complaint on US-56, and a report of a suspicious vehicle at Tabor College.

March 4 — A report of a possible criminal threat in Industrial Park was investigated and suspended employees were removed from a worksite. Suspicious activity in the 700 block of S. Washington St. was investigated.

March 5 — A damage complaint in the 500 block of S. Washington St. was investigated.

March 6 — Suspicious activity was investigated at the fairgrounds, and a stranded motorist was helped on US-56.

March 7 — A report of children knocking on doors then running away in the 400 block of S. Main St. was investigated.

March 8 — A threat complaint in the 500 block of E. D St., a commercial alarm in the 800 block of E. D St., and a non-injury accident in Hillsboro Heights were investigated.

March 9 — A report of a reckless driver on US-56, and a trespass complaint in the 900 block of E. D St. were investigated.

Thursday — A report of a runaway in the 400 block of E. First St. and a trespass complaint in the 900 block of E. D St. were investigated.

Friday — A harassment complaint in the 900 block of E. D St., report of children knocking on a door and running in the 400 block of S. Main St., trespass complaint in the 900 block of E. D St., and a report of a reckless driver in the 100 block of E. D St. were investigated. A resident was warned about burning in their yard in the 400 block of S. Main St.

Saturday — A domestic disturbance in the 200 block of W. B St., and a disorderly person were investigated.

March 7 — Report of a theft from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of S. Lincoln St. was investigated.

March 8 — Destruction of old evidence was completed.

March 9 — Traffic control for a move of a garage in the 300 block of N. Cedar St. was provided. A report of a scam was investigated.

Thursday — Report of a hit and run accident in the 1100 block of E. Main St. was investigated, and the suspect vehicle was located. A stranded motorist near US-56 was assisted.

Friday — A verbal warning for speeding in a school zone was issued. Traffic control was provided for a large fire near Marion Airport. An out-of-control juvenile was investigated.

Saturday — Suspicious activity was investigated.
