May 8 — A traffic complaint in the 900 block of E. D St. and a dog complaint in the 300 block of S. Ash St. were investigated.

May 9 — Reports of identity theft, someone knocking on a door and running in the 400 block of S. Main St., and threatening phone calls in the 100 block of S. Ash St. were investigated. A curfew violation in Memorial Park was issued.

May 10 — A welfare concern in the 400 block of S. Main St was investigated.

Thursday — A report of juveniles throwing rocks into the pond at Memorial Park was investigated. A dog complaint in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St. and a harassment complaint in the 300 block of N. Jefferson St were investigated.

Friday — A report of a person knocking on a door and running away from a residence in the 400 block of S. Main St. and a dog bite complaint in the 200 block of E. F St. were investigated.

Saturday — Suspects in a report of people knocking on a door and running away from a residence in the 400 block of S. Main St were located.

Sunday — A report of a runaway juvenile in the 300 block of E. First St. was investigated. The juvenile was located and transported to juvenile intake. A harassment complaint, involving a juvenile who reported other juveniles were yelling at him, was investigated. A traffic complaint in the 100 block of S. Ash St. was investigated.

May 9 — A foot patrol of downtown businesses was conducted.

May 10 — A report of an altercation between juveniles was investigated and all parents were contacted in reference to the incident. Verbal warnings for speeding near Arbor and Main St., speeding in the 400 block of E. Main St., and no tag light at US-56 and Ridge Rd. were issued.

May 11 — Verbal warnings for speeding in a school zone and no tag light at Third and Main Sts. were issued. Traffic control for a broken down vehicle near Eastmoor Dr. was performed. A reckless driving complaint was investigated.

Thursday — Two verbal warnings for speeding were issued. Door-to-door salesmen were located and informed they needed a permit to sell within city limits. A panic alarm in the 500 block of S. Freeborn was investigated.

Friday — A verbal domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Locust St. was investigated. Three verbal warnings for no tag light near US-56 and Remington Rd. were issued.

Saturday — A commercial alarm in the 200 block of E. Main St. was investigated. A report of dogs at large was investigated and owners were contacted. Officers assisted the sheriff’s department in removing five large round bales from the roundabout at US-56 and US-77. A report of a possible drunk driver at the county lake was passed on to sheriff’s deputies.

May 10 — Police took a report of vandalism at a residence.

May 11 — After a routine traffic stop, Joshua Henderson, Peabody, was cited for driving without a driver’s license and driving with an expired tag.

Police opened a case involving two dogs at large.

Thursday — A report was filed with police about damage to a vehicle.

Friday — A juvenile was reported as a runaway and missing. The juvenile was found and the case was referred to Marion County attorney.

Police opened child in need of care case and arrested a juvenile who was charged with violent behavior.

Sunday — Nichole Ryan of 206 South Olive St. was arrested and charged with battery. Jeffery Scott Smith of 206 South Olive St. was arrested and charged with battery. Both were taken to Marion County jail.
