Powerlifters win first at state

Centre High School athletes participated recently in the state 1A powerlifting competition.

Several athletes had first-place finishes, and Rustyn Kerbs and Grant Srajer finished first overall in their class.

Results

Ty Simons (2nd overall): 105 weight class, 2. Clean. 2. Squat. 2. Bench.

Srajer (1st overall): 114 weight, 1. Bench. 1. Clean. 2. Squat.

Justin Deines (5th overall): 132 weight, 5. Clean. 5. Squat.

Houston Svoboda: 140 weight, 4. Squat.

Cole Svoboda (4th overall): 148 weight, 1.Clean. 6.Bench. 8. Squat.

Kerbs (1st overall): 156 weight, 1.Bench. 3.Clean. 2. Squat.

Casey Kristek (2nd overall): 173 weight, 1. Clean. 4. Squat.
