Purses take over at PEO meeting

The PEO Chapter DB was host to the Cottonwood Falls Chapter BZ Nov. 16 at the Doyle Creek Corral in Florence with Judy Mills, Margaret Pickering, Debbi Darrow, and Patty McLinden hosting.

Judy Christensen gave a presentation titled “A Wild Woman with Purses.” Christensen shared stories of her collection of purses and gave a history of purses. Barbara Abbott assisted with the presentation and Lenore Dieter played the piano for the singing of “You’ve Got Purse-anality.”

The next meeting will be 3 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Marion Presbyterian Church fellowship hall with Joyce Dosien giving a presentation.
