Everyone to his own taste, said the boy as he kissed the cow. Still true. Have you noticed how many people kiss their dogs or cats? I could love a pet, but not that much.
I had a niece who had two cute little boys and a dog. She let that dog lick those boys’ faces. Of course, they kissed it right on the lips. I thought those boys would get some horrible disease. They didn’t, actually they grew up to be handsome and healthy young men.
People who go visiting and take their pets with them are a little too much, at least in my opinion. I like to see John Hanna’s wild animals on TV. They lick faces too. Do they put something on the faces to make animals want to lick them?
Some people think putting animals in zoos or circuses are cruel. Doesn’t the Bible say all creatures are under man’s control?
Some people object to eating certain foods. The Jews used to stay away from certain foods, especially pork. I know Jesus ate fish and probably lamb too. I think all food is good for you. It has to be prepared and cooked right. Of course, I know of some foods that are good for you but have a bitter taste. So everyone to his own taste is still a good test. Maybe I’m just a picky old lady. Right?
