Raymond Abrahams

Former Hillsboro assistant postmaster Raymond E. Abrahams, 89, died April 28 at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

Services were to be Tuesday at First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro.

He was born Sept. 27, 1925, to Cornelius and Anna (Dalke) Abrahams in Goessel. He married Sylvia Unruh Nov. 30, 1947, in Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Abrahams, and a sister, Verna Koehn.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia of Hillsboro; sons, Rex Abrahams of Canton, and Kim Abrahams of rural Hillsboro; daughters, Dawn Abrahams of Moundridge, and Bev Klein of Ft. Collins, Colorado; brother, Charles Abrahams of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
