Raymond Franz

Raymond L. Franz, 87, died Saturday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro, with interment preceding the service at 10 a.m. at the church cemetery. Family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Born Nov. 16, 1929, to Jacob E. and Ruth (Suderman) Franz in Hutchinson, he married Aldina Flaming on Nov. 11, 1951, in Goessel.

He was preceded in death by a son, Don Franz; brother, James Franz; and sister, Elaine Franz.

Survivors include his wife, Aldina Franz of Hillsboro; sons, Larry Franz of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Dale Franz of Hillsboro; brother, Richard Franz of Brentwood, Tennessee; sisters, Eloise Faul of Hillsboro, Carrol Ediger of Hillsboro, and Judith Classen of Broomfield, Colorado; and three grandchildren.

Memorials have been established for Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Youth or World Impact.
