Raymond E. Oursler, 97, of Marion, died Aug. 11 at Salem Home of Hillsboro.
Born March 29, 1913, at Newton, to Tom and Nina (Caldwell) Oursler, he was a conductor for Santa Fe Railroad.
He married Betty Davis June 29, 1949, at Newton. She survives.
They lived many years at Marion County Lake.
Other survivors include a son, Terry, of Gueda Springs; two daughters, Christine Holmes of Wichita and Pauline Caldwell of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marion.
He was buried in Marion Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with the church and Hospice Care of Kansas.
