The family of Vern Smith will host a celebration of his 90th birthday from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Peabody Care Center.

The event will take place downstairs in the residential commons area.

Cake and ice cream will be served. The family requests no gifts, only the presence of Smith’s friends and acquaintances.
