Remaining suspects in Peabody barn fire surrender
The two remaining suspects in the January barn fire on North Maple Street in Peabody turned themselves in to the Marion County sheriff’s department this past week.
Arrest warrants had been issued for Isaac Hilliard, 18, Peabody; and Haylee Raye Stewart, 18, and Layton Edward Keegan Tapscott, 19, both of Cassoday, on arson charges.
Hilliard was arrested June 15. Stewart and Tapscott were arrested July 6 after surrendering.
All three have posted bond, County Attorney Susan Robson said.
Fires that damaged two personal vehicles and a City of Peabody patrol car March 5 at the home of Jeremy Miller still are under investigation, Peabody Police Chief Bruce Burke said.
