Rena Topham

Rena M. Topham, 84, Fredonia, died Oct. 31 at her home.

Born April 22, 1925, to Dietrick H. and Susan F. (Conyer) Ubben in Peabody, she was married Sept. 16, 1940, to James D. Topham in Peabody.

She farmed and worked for the Fredonia school district as a bus driver.

Her husband; a grandson, David L. Lacy; and seven brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Geneva Jones of Chanute; two sons, Terry of Fulton, Ill., and Garry of Joplin, Mo.; a sister, Georgia Lalouette of Florence; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was Nov. 7 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, with the Rev. Gene Benefiel officiating.
