Rex Graham

Rex C. Graham, 85, died Nov. 26 at Newton Presbyterian Manor.

He was born October 6, 1930, in Newton to Earl and Clara Graham.

On February 17, 1952 he married Marjorie Buell at Peabody, Kansas; she survives the home.

Rex served in the Air Force during the Korean Era. He retired from the Newton Kansan as a pressman.

He also owned and operated a print shop in Peabody, and Graham LP Gas company.

Rex was an active Mason for nearly 63 years as a member of both the Newton Lodge #142, where he has served as Past Master, and the Halcyon Lodge in Peabody. He was also a member of the Shrine Club.

He is survived by son Neil Graham of Marshfield, Missouri; daughter Cheryl Wallweber of Wichita; brother Galen Graham of Overland Park; sister Marilyn Rouse of Kansas City; and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Lorilyn Graham.

Memorials are suggested to the Kansas Honor Flight or the Shriners Plane of Mercy.
