Richard Brenzikofer
Richard A. Brenzikofer, 77, of Marion, passed away suddenly June 4, at his home near Marion.
He was born June 6, 1933, at Newton, the son of William and Demelia Belle (Pierce) Brenzikofer. He grew to adulthood in Burns, graduating from Burns High School in 1951. He served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War.
On August 25, 1957, he married Rhonda Rath. They made their home in Burns.
Richard was an agent for Kansas Gas & Electric, which later became Westar Energy, for nearly 40 years. In 2000, they moved to rural Marion.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachelle Brenzikofer, and an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda; daughters, Renee Pusateri and husband Dean of Wichita and Robin Adams and husband Tom of Garnett; siblings, Bob Brenzikofer of Florence and Joyce McMannis of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Antonio Pusateri, Andria Pusateri, Amber Adams, and Arielle Adams; and a great-grandson, Gunner.
A memorial service was 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Marion Christian Church.
A private family inurnment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery, rural Burns.
Memorial funds have been established at Marion Christian Church and Marion Senior Center in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Marion KS, 66861.
