Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Richmond of Marion announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Nichole Richmond to Scott Patrick Thompson, son of Jeff and Mary Thompson of Salina.

Scott is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and information systems. He is employed by IKON Office Solutions in Kansas City. Amber received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. She is finishing a doctorate chiropractic degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City.

The wedding is planned for May 26 in Marion.
