Randall and Ramona Richmond of Salina announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Renee Richmond to Bobby Charles Young Jr.

Bob Sr. and Joy Young of Wichita are the prospective groom’s parents. Rebecca is the granddaughter of Ralph and Wanda Richmond and Sherrill Lanning of Marion.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Herington High School and a 2009 graduate of Southwestern College, Winfield, with a nursing degree. She is employed as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Her fiancé is a 1995 graduate of Wichita East High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Phoenix with an associate’s degree in information technology. He is employed by Geek Squad.

The couple plans to be married Oct. 16 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion.
