Rosalie Ann Spaniol, 68, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She was born March 18, 1944, in Florence the daughter of Albert and Alice Stamp Uphoff.

She was a member of New Life Christian Church, Esther Rebekah Lodge No. 458, LAPM No. 21, and LEA No. 32, all of Hutchinson, and IOOF No. 248 and LEA No. 98, both of Pratt. Rosalie was a cashier at Target for over 10 years, retiring in 2005.

She was first married to Wesley Landes in 1960. They divorced. Then on Sept. 12, 1975, she married Billy Lee Spaniol in Newton. He survives.

Other survivors include her children and stepchildren, Gary (Teresa) Landes, Hutchinson; Jeff (Kendra) Landes, Iowa City, Iowa; Sherri Landes, Hutchinson; Heidi Moore, McPherson; Holly Williams, Hutchinson; Melody (Charles) Vest and Cindy (Mike) Renollet, both of Arlington; and Terry Spaniol, Hutchinson; her mother, of Hutchinson; two brothers, Albert Uphoff of Belleville and Melvin Uphoff Sr. of Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and her daughter, Rochelle Landes.

Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor John Frey officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation was 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson.
