Rowena J. Olsen, 74, of Marion, died April 14 at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.

She was born July 29, 1937, in Marion to Earl F. and Tena “Lucille” (Rempel) Olsen.

She graduated from Marion High School and obtained a Master’s of Library Science degree. She was librarian at McPherson College until her retirement in the mid-1990s.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include a sister, Helen Reznicek, and brother, Larry, both of Marion.

A memorial service was Monday at Valley United Methodist Church, Marion.

Inurnment was in Marion Cemetery.

Memorial funds have been established at Marion City Library and the church in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
