Ryding, Yiu married in double ring ceremony

Jennie Rae Ryding and William Sze Ming Yiu were united in marriage April 26, 2008, at Christ Lutheran Church, O’Neill, Neb.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. John and Kathryn Ryding of O’Neill, Neb. The groom is the son of Wai Dick and Boi Lin Yiu of Overland Park.

Grandparents of the bride are Elizabeth Ryding-Spicer and the Rev. Don Spicer of O’Neill, Neb., William and Billie Petersen of Wichita, and the late Rev. Donald S. Ryding.

The bride’s father, the Rev. John Ryding officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Music was provided by the bride’s grandmother, Elizabeth Ryding-Spicer.

Amanda Tin was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elisa Francisco, the groom’s sister, Joanna Yiu, and the bride’s sisters, Anne Ryding and Rebecca First.

Steven Mak was the best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Mak, Michael Ho, and Kenneth Chau.

The bride’s niece, Olivia First was the flower girl.

The bride graduated from Hillsboro High School and Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in English literature.

Her husband graduated from Olathe East High School and Kansas State University with degrees in network engineering. He is employed as a network engineer for Sprint in Virginia.

A reception will be Saturday at Overland Park.

Following a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple lives at 20572 Reserve Falls Ter., Apt. 204, Potomac Falls VA 20165.

Bridemaids and groomsmen request a card shower for the couple and cards may be sent to them at the above address.
