“Fizz, Boom, and Read” will be the theme of this year’s summer reading program at Marion City Library.
The program is for children who were in kindergarten through eighth grade the past school year. There will also be a “read to me” level for children ages 3 through 5.
The program begins Monday and continues through July 18. Children will read books, track how much they read, and win prizes for meeting goals.
There will also be science experiments, contests, and hands-on activities.
