Seminary dean will speak at Tabor

Terry L. Brensinger, vice president and dean of the Biblical seminary and professor of pastoral ministry at Fresno Pacific University, will speak on Tabor College’s Hillsboro campus Monday and Tuesday.

He will give several presentations during his two days on campus:

  • “War in the Old Testament: A Journey Toward Nonparticipation” at 8 a.m. Monday in the H.W. Lohrenz Buidling, room 31.
  • “Was That Really God’s Voice I Heard?” at 1:15 and 2:15 p.m. Monday in the H.W. Lohrenz Building, room 31.
  • “Rethinking the Smelly Fish in Our Lives” at 7 p.m. Monday in the Tabor Chapel.
  • “Converting Prejudice into Compassion” at 11 and 11:40 a.m. Tuesday in the Tabor Chapel.

Brensinger received his bachelor’s degree from Messiah College, a master’s degree in divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, and master’s degrees in Near Eastern architecture and philosophy and a doctorate in Old Testament Studies from Drew University.

He also studied at Jerusalem University College, Princeton Theological Seminary, and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
