Norine Holtsclaw celebrated her birthday Sept. 23. The group also sang to Val Morgan whose birthday was earlier in September.
Marion High School alumni who had returned to the city for class reunions visited the center.
Plans are being made for the annual meeting of Senior Citizens of Marion County on Oct. 21. Area Agency on Aging is planning a workshop, Answers for Older Kansans, on Oct. 28.
The newsletter crew prepared the newsletter for mailing on Sept. 27. They included Ivanlee Timm, Nora Richter, Darrell and Beulah Weigart, Jane Makovec, Harvey Wells, Ernie Lespagnard, Evelyn Jewett, Norma Woerz, Gayla Ratzlaff, and Lanell Hett.
The program Sept. 28 was Lori Garrett, head of the cardiac rehabilitation program at St. Luke Hospital.
The program Oct. 13 will be Marion County Health Administrator Diedre Serene.
Flu shots will be available 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 15 at the center.
