New volunteers began helping last week. Robin Nelson is assisting in the dining room, Doug Fisher is riding with Leonard Klassen to deliver meals, and Virginia Bowers and Shirley Moore also are a meal delivery team.
Seats are available to travel to the Senior Fair on Sept. 21 in Salina. Registration is $15 and includes a noon meal, workshops, and presentations.
Estelle McCarty treated seniors to ice cream Aug. 25 for her birthday. Richard and Rhonda Brenzikofer celebrated their anniversary that day.
Merle Ecklund played a variety of songs on the accordion Aug. 25, from polkas to gospel music.
There will be a presentation about Medicare on Sept. 8.
