Marion seniors observed the 90th anniversary of women being given the right to vote in the United States on Aug. 26. A short history of the women who led the women’s suffrage movement was presented.

Virginia Bowers brought a coverlet with Swedish weaving to show everyone.

Seniors learned a power nap of just 6 minutes can revive thought processes.

Don Rock brought treats Aug. 29 in celebration of his birthday.

Wilma Gilmer changed the table decorations to fall flowers.

Through the month of August, an average of 51 people ate at the senior center. Counting meals served through meal on wheels, the average was 80 meals per day.

Valora Ciero will entertain with music Sept. 15.
