More signs of spring

The first flowers of spring — two daffodils — were brought to the center by Beulah Weigart.

The Walk Kansas kickoff was March 13. Senior Center Sensations team is Sue Clough, Vern Bowers, Jerry Kline, Shirley Moore, Rhonda Brenzikofer, and Janet Bryant.
The Barbie doll’s boyfriend, Ken, turned 50 March 11. There was a write-up about him in Parade magazine.
Seventy-two people ate at the center March 16 with fried chicken being served. Sheriff Rob Craft talked about the proposed jail project. It was also Pearl Helmer’s birthday.
Attorney Lori Lalouette will provide the program March 30.
