Diners celebrate birthday
Marion Senior Center correspondent
On April 7, Janet Bryant celebrated her birthday at the center. She was dubbed the “fun size” senior center manager.
The center received a card from Pauline Edmunds, who is now living in Oklahoma, expressing how much she missed the diners.
Residents from Marion Assisted Living and Hilltop Manor ate at the center April 11 with enchiladas on the menu.
Marion County Department on Aging volunteers were recognized April 11. Shirley Moore recognized senior center quilters and others. Nutrition site volunteers will be recognized in the future.
Merle Ecklund and Deb Harrington performed a music program April 13 with an accordion, karaoke, and vocals.
Ear care will be 1 to 4 p.m. April 25.
Marion Assisted Living Director Janet Blue will perform vocal arrangements April 27.
