Diners appreciate homegrown goods

Wilma Gilmer brought homegrown rhubarb to the center. The community garden in Florence has sent radishes.
Shirley Bowers brought a vase of peonies May 25 in honor of her husband, David, who would have turned 88 years old.
Ann Boese celebrated her birthday May 19. Joan Meyer brought treat May 23 for her birthday.
The lights were turned off briefly before lunch May 20 because it was a surprise meal since the supplier couldn’t provide the menu item.
Hilltop Manor residents ate at the center May 25. Merle Ecklund provided accordion music after lunch.
Wanda William will provide a musical program June 8.
