A resource guide for senior citizens, prepared by Marion County Department on Aging, is available at the center. Brochures are also available for a wellness event 8:30 a.m. to noon May 26 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion. The event is free and will include demonstrations and speakers. The county aging department is sponsoring it.

Beulah Weigart and Jeff Christensen celebrated birthdays this week and they brought treats.
In celebration of Mother’s Day, female diners were given a puzzle May 7 to complete. Joan Meyer won a teddy bear.
Senior citizens can sign up for designated trips with one being to the Mennonite Heritage Museum in Goessel.
Merle Ecklund played his accordion May 12. His friend, Deb Harrington, was unable to sing but both will perform in late June.
Diners are encouraged to wear tiaras Monday and then be ready to play kazoos May 26 for Kazoo Day.
Frank Albert will speak May 26 about the St. Luke Hospital building campaign.
