Seniors remember actor on day of the cowboy

Judy Dannenfelser shared a life-size cardboard figure of John Wayne on July 27, National Day of the Cowboy.
Marge Regnier brought treats for her July 23 birthday.
Patrons rented the senior center building three times in July. A day can be reserved for $50 by calling during daytime hours.
Karyn Woodward from Florence spoke July 25 about herbs. She reported that dandelion could be used in its entirety for medical purposes. She also circulated samples of basil and rosemary.

Thursday — Salmon patty, noodles Romanoff, mixed vegetables, mixed fruit cup.
Friday — Hamburger steak, hash brown casserole, green beans, strawberries with topping.
Monday — Baked pork chop, boiled potatoes, coleslaw, fruit cocktail.
Tuesday — Chicken and noodles, spinach, “easy” fruit dessert.
Aug. 8 — Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, carrots, cantaloupe.
