This changeable Kansas weather may be what keeps us sassy! We’ve had large crowds come eat this week — as many as 60 Feb. 11. Our favorite menu item was served — enchiladas.
We have our 2009 Walk Kansas team organized, Senior Center Sensations. Team members are Rhonda Brenzikofer, Jerry Kline, Caleb Abbott, Shirley Bowers, Sue Clough, and Janet Bryant as team captain.
Many people observed Wear Red for Heart Day Feb. 6.
Retired employees of St. Luke Hospital joined us for lunch Feb. 11. We welcomed Lucille Bitner as a new dining room volunteer.
Wilma Gilmer celebrated her birthday with us Feb. 11, providing ice cream cups as treats. They went well with the cherry crisp.
