We think spring may be here to stay! Vases of colorful, almost real tulips are on the tables, put there by Wilma Gilmer, who does all of the table decorations at the center.

Now to keep our easels in use. Sue Clough brought her artwork April 9. Shirley Bowers had a good idea and brought her needlework as art April 10, draping embroidered tea towels on an easel.

Lenore Dieter and Norma Riggs brought songs of spring April 15. Lenore sang as Norma accompanied her on the piano. Norma also dazzled us with a couple of piano solos. (She plays by ear.) We felt quite springy that day.

Join us April 29. Frankie Turner will present a program about handwriting analysis.

We are celebrating Poem in Your Pocket Day April 30. Come share favorite poems with us.

A fish fry fund-raiser will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the senior center.
