Seniors attend annual meeting

Many from Marion attended the Senior Citizens of Marion County annual meeting on Oct. 16. Former Marion educators honored at the meeting included Betty Fruechting, Marilyn Geis, Joyce Jackson, Mary Olson, Barbara and Larry Smith, and Rex Wilson. Connie Olmstead of Florence was honored as well.
Elsie Reiswig celebrated her birthday Oct. 22. Billie Goosen of Hillsboro played the accordion for the program.
Pianist Keith Allison will play Nov. 5 after lunch.
