Burglaries and thefts
Travis Ryan Grosse, 1713 110th Road, Peabody, reported someone had entered his residence at 10 a.m. Dec. 17 and taken four guitars and two portable heaters. The total loss was valued at $2,282.
A four-wheel, all-terrain vehicle was taken from 2267 U.S. 56, Marion, and reported 2:30 p.m. Jan. 3 by J.B. Miesse, 115 Lakeshore Dr., Marion. The vehicle was valued at $5,000.
Criminal damage to property
Harvey County Rural Water District of Walton reported $300 in damages to a water tower at 7 a.m. Dec. 23 in the 700 block of Falcon Road, Walton.
Arrest for drugs, paraphernalia
Marion County sheriff’s office arrested an individual at 209 S. Jefferson St., Lost Springs, at 5 p.m. Dec. 23, on suspicion of use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Cynthia Renee Morton and Steven Daniel Morton, of that address, also reported being battered.
Criminal use of a financial card
Judy Goertzen, 964 Falcon Road, Hillsboro, reported at 1 p.m. Dec. 30 that someone had used her financial card without her authorization. The value of the loss was unknown.
Arson
Someone started a fire of pasture grass at 1850 250th Road, Marion, which was reported at 7:35 p.m. Jan. 3 by Kelvin J. Kroupa, 2436 Quail Creek road, Marion. The loss was estimated at $200.
