OFFENSE REPORTS

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reported these offenses:

Criminal damage to property

A rock was used between 8:30 p.m. May 23 and 6 p.m. May 26 to break the outer glass and damage a rear door at a residence at 1 Jerome Lane, Marion County Lake. Inner glass was not broken. Entry was not gained. Owner Pamela J. Klenda, 56, of 323 Sutherland, McPherson, reported the incident. Deputies estimated damage at $200.

Residential burglary

A door was kicked open and an oak secretary, three cast-iron toy tractors, and other items valued at $1,700 total were taken between 4 p.m. May 21 and 4 p.m. May 22 from the residence of Ronald Gaines, 66, of 447 Yarrow, Burns.
