Golf cart taken

Thieves took a $5,000 EZ-Go golf cart at 5 p.m. Oct. 20 from 480 Pawnee Road, Peabody. The owner of the golf cart is Craig A. Cooper of Tioga, Texas. When the thieves took the vehicle, they cased $1,200 in damages to doors and door frames.

Thefts and damage to properties

Sheila Mercer, 309 N. C St., Ramona, reported someone entered her property at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 and removed a homemade log splitter, valued at $1,000.

Miscellaneous items were taken at 4 p.m. Oct. 13 from a building at 517 Douglas Ave., Durham, and reported stolen by Wendell J. Wedel, 828 Lawrence Ave., Durham. The items were valued at $70 and $100 in damages were reported to a door.

Sheila Mercer, 309 N. C St., Ramona, reported someone entered her property at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 and removed a homemade log splitter, valued at $1,000.

Someone broke into a building at 2110 60th Road, Peabody, at 4 p.m. Oct. 30, and took a Sawzall cordless tool, air gun and ratchet set, and 18-inch crescent wrench, and other equipment with a total value of $1,600. The items were owned by Drillers and Producers of Newton.

Rolls of wire and other items were taken at 5 p.m. Oct. 28 at 2672 20th Road, Burns, and reported stolen by Larry D. Morgan, Hesston. Two rolls of 250 feet of wire, a set of John Deere open-end wrenches, and an air bubble, with a total value of $339, were taken.

Antiques were taken at noon Nov. 4 at 2728 Remington Road, Marion. Frank Svitak, 2622 Remington Road, Marion, reported two Champlin globes, a crank-style telephone, and an old gum display case were taken. A door frame was damaged in the process. The total loss was estimated at $800.
