Shopping Spree winners announced

Peabody City Clerk Stephanie Ax did the honors at 2 p.m. Friday and drew out the winning tickets in Peabody’s 2013 Holiday Shopping Spree.
The first-place winner for $700 was Sonya Koslowsky, second place winner for $400 was Kelly Penner, and third place winner for $100 was Bessie Michaelis.
An additional drawing will take place at 2 p.m. Dec. 27 for a $75 consolation prize. People who have incomplete tickets may drop them off at the city building for that drawing.
The prize money is paid out in the form of Peabody Bucks so the winners will spend an additional $1,275 in prize money in Peabody.
