Smaller CHS track team competes at Moundridge

Because of other school activities, four Centre High School athletes missed the track meet May 2 at Moundridge.

“This was our third meet in the last seven days,” Coach Alan Stahlecker said. “I think our jumpers’ legs were particularly weary, but they still competed well as we picked up three placings on the girls side of the meet in jumps.”

Cole Svoboda led the boys with a second-place finish in javelin. Cacey Simons led the girls with a three-way tie for second place in high jump.
