I reported in last week’s paper that I was awaiting word from the doctor regarding my leg.

Good news — I don’t need surgery; at least not right now. The doc is keeping an eye on it to make sure the tendon doesn’t do something it shouldn’t do and the bone heals properly.

Life in the slow lane is an adjustment for me, my husband, and my staff. I keep telling myself it’s temporary and soon I will be back on my feet.

I’ve also heard numerous comments from other people who share my gift of being clumsy.

It’s nice to know I’m not alone.
