St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary purchases AC for store

The St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary met Thursday with 21 members present. Hostesses for the meeting were Rosemary Garrard, Dorothy Youck, Henrietta Waner, Beth Collett, Dorothy Conyers, and Elora Robinson.

Carolan McFarland presented a program on stress management and relaxation techniques.

In the absence of hospital Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Armstrong, chairman Janet Herzet gave an update on the hospital building project and announced an open house will be 1:15 to 5 p.m. Nov. 13

A donor wall should be completed by the end of September.

The call system in the Living Center has been installed and working.

Members voted to purchase an air conditioner for the back room at the Shoppe.

Garrard reports “The Shoppe” continues to do well and fall clothes are now on display.
