To the editor:

Hello. I am a fourth-grade student in Massachusetts. In fourth grade, we have to do state reports and I have chosen my favorite state, Kansas — your state! I am super excited about getting Kansas.

Most of the information we get is from books and encyclopedias. We also like to get information from the people who live in that state, too. This is why I am writing to you. I was hoping that you would be willing to send me some items to help me with my report. It could be postcards, maps, pictures, souvenirs, general information, clippings from the Marion County Record, or any other items that would be useful. Nothing living please! Thank you.
