Carolyn “Sue” Williams, 69, died from cancer March 23 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.
Born May 16, 1941, in Junction City to A.W. and Ruby (Garrison) Haizlip, she was married Aug. 2, 1959, to Jack Williams in Marion.
She worked as a certified nurse aide and was a chicken egg farmer with her husband.
A daughter, Linda Holub; her parents; and a brother, Warren Haizlip, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Jack, of Marion; sons Gary of Hillsboro, Bruce of Canada, and Jim and Neil of Marion; sisters Ruth Ann Baker of Aurora, Mo., and Rosalyn James of Shell Knob, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion. Service was Sunday at Aulne United Methodist Church with interment at the Marion cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, Marion City Library, and Aulne United Methodist Church.
