Registration for Marion City Library’s summer reading program began today.

Children from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade can win prizes for reaching reading goals June 13 through July 15.

The library also will sponsor two traveling science programs this month at Marion Community Center: one by Mad Science from Kansas City at 10 a.m. June 14 and the other by Exploration Place from Wichita at 10 a.m. June 30.

In July, the library will show a movie and provide snacks at 2:30 p.m. each Wednesday. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
