Surprise,
it’s a birthday party

Ron Wright had a surprise birthday party Aug. 26 at Marion Senior Center when his sister, Barb Bitner, brought treats to celebrate.

A memorial box for Jane McCormick is at the senior center where patrons can contribute their memories of her.

Susan Davis, a board member of the Area Agency on Aging, visited Aug. 30 for the senior center’s yearly evaluation.

Photographer Pheobe Janzen came Aug. 31 to show and talk about photographs she had taken around the county.

Marion County Park and Lake Superintendent Steve Hudson will give a program Sept. 14.

Patrons also should remember that a St. Luke Hospital physical therapist leads exercises at the senior center every Friday.
