Tabor planning fine arts center

Tabor College in Hillsboro is in early stages of a campaign to build a new fine arts center.

“It will be the signature performing arts venue in Marion County and maybe beyond,” said Frank E. Johnson, vice president of academic affairs.

The center will also include visual arts and graphic design, he said.The college is in the process of selecting an architect and has began fundraising, said Brad Vogel, head of the music department.
