Tom and Dee Duggan attended a meeting of the Marion County Senior Citizens planning committee July 26 in Marion. The group is making plans for the 50th anniversary at the annual meeting in October.

Tom and Dee Duggan took their granddaughter, Kaylee Hall of Herington, out to lunch July 27.

Lucille Kerbs visited Lois Sklenar July 27 in Hillsboro.

Mildred Bernhardt of Lyons and Adeline Bernhardt went to the Bernhardt family reunion July 25 at the Marion Senior Center. Among the 71 relatives attending were Barney and Linda Bernhardt of Wichita and Carrie, Lexie, Brian, and Kevin Bernhardt of El Dorado.

Terry and Cindy Vinduska of Marion were hosts for a barbecue supper to celebrate their daughter Sara’s birthday July 25 at their home. Others attending were Daniel, Melissa, Tanner, and Allie Stuchlik; Matt Fraizer; and Leona Kleiber.

Donald and Carolyn Srajer of Omaha, Neb., spent July 23 through 26 visiting Tillie Hein and Jim, Kris, Grant, and Cole Srajer. All attended the state baseball tournament that Cole played in.

Kayleen Mueller was an evening visitor July 27 of Tom and Dee Duggan.

A crowd came out for the Knights of Columbus sausage supper and movie July 24. Tom Duggan was one of the workers for the evening.

Lucille Kerbs went to Abilene July 25 and accompanied Connie Thompson to Topeka. They attended an open house at Faith Lutheran Church to celebrate Al Gooding’s 80th birthday. Many relatives and friends were present.

Dinner guests of Andrea, Dale and Elijah Klenda July 24 were Dennis Klenda, Lynn and Peggy Kleiber, Tim Baxa, and Leona Kleiber.

July 24 dinner guests of Gary and Carole Spohn were Ryan, Adam, and Lauren Spohn; Steve and Sheri Spohn; Leo and Sue Yonda; and Georgia Spohn.

Edna Mueller and Adeline Bernhardt attended the postponed Fourth of July celebration July 25 in Ramona.

Lynn and Peggy Kleiber of Salina were overnight guests July 23 and 24 of his mother, Leona Kleiber. Nick Kleiber was also a July 24 overnight guest.

Bobby Bernhardt and Fern Foster of Haysprings, Neb., were morning visitors July 24 of Adeline Bernhardt.

Joyce Cox of Abilene, Everett and Rhea Kolling of Herington, and Tom and Dee Duggan attended a play at Great Plains Theater July 23 in Abilene.

Carl and Kathy Hubbard of Wellington and Clint Hubbard of Wichita were July 23 visitors of Adeline Bernhardt.

Elmer Gooding of Tempe, Ariz., was an overnight guest July 21 of his sister, Lucille Kerbs. That evening they visited Doug, Connie, and Taylor Thompson in Abilene and went out for supper.

Tom and Dee Duggan and Kaylee Hall went to Lee’s Summit, Mo., July 21 to visit Darla Hall and Adam. The occasion was a celebration of Dee and Darla’s birthdays.

Lori and Nikki Moldenhauer went to Missouri one recent weekend for a brief getaway.
