Son from Dodge City visits mother

Glenn Kerbs of Dodge City was a supper and overnight guest of Lucille Kerbs on Jan. 10. The following day, they picked up Connie Thompson in Abilene and went to Topeka to attend the funeral of Don Penney. Don was the husband of Cecile (Gooding). Among other friends and relatives attending were Eloise Kerbs and Clayton and Leah Kerbs. A luncheon was served after the funeral.

Supper guests at the home of Tom and Lori Moldenhauer on Jan. 7 were Greg Stenzel, Betty Stenzel, and Jeannie Goza of Ramona; Nikki Stenzel and Mark Gilford of Manhattan; and Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu and Anna, and Frank and Anna Mae Stika. The occasion was a belated celebration of Nikki’s birthday.

Tom and Dee Duggan attended senior citizen game night Jan. 9 at Ramona.

Russ and Julie Kerbs and Rustyn and Lucille Kerbs joined other relatives at the home of Jesse and Ashton Smith and Sydney in Pilsen for a party Jan. 9 to celebrate Sydney’s third birthday. Visitors watched Sydney open her gifts and ate birthday cake, cupcakes, and ice cream.

Tom and Dee Duggan attended a dance recital Jan. 8 in Herington. Their granddaughter, Kaylee Hall, was one of the performers.

Nikki Stenzel celebrated her 21st birthday Dec. 30 with an outing to Kansas City with a group of family and friends.

Tampa City Council canceled its meeting for January.

Adeline Bernhardt stayed Jan. 8 through 10 with Barney and Linda Bernhardt in Wichita. She stayed with Carl and Kathy Hubbard in Wellington Jan. 10 through 12.
